I have never been on a cruise of any kind or a boat of any kind like this in the past, so I have nothing to compare it to. several people got sick on the rough open ocean crossings, and even tossed out of bed! but from what I hear that is pretty common. I had no problems and loved the gentle rocking. the staff were amazing and accommodating and genuinely wanted this to be the experience of a lifetime, which it was. worth every penny.

We were also fortunate to have great fellow passengers. My family and I will cherish this trip forever. Marc and Heather were instrumental in arranging this trip. Their suggestions were spot on and Angelito was a great fit for us. I would recommend CNH to anyone who plans to travel to Ecuador and the Galapagos islands.

Our NW itinerary allowed us to see an incredible amount of flora and fauna. Some stops we anchored alone because The Beagle was the only boat permitted to visit that area. A strong testament to the captain and crew. Our guide and crew were as excited as we were to spot animals and birds! The captain and crew were extremely attentive and went above and beyond expectations every day. Only suggestion for improvement is food. Lots of batters, sauces and deep frying as the week wore on. I realize the freshness of food suffers after a few days at sea, but perhaps there is a balance which can be struck. Only other suggestion is to bring sea sickness pills! Not the boat's fault, but it can get rough. Overall, I highly recommend the Beagle!

We had four activities daily: snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, etc, two activities at each of two locations. The crew were incredibly wonderful with our kids -- we would definitely call this a family friendly ship! Food was delicious, and kids had kid-friendly options (we just had to ask). Overall, everything was wonderful.

The crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful and certainly went the extra mile to make sure we had a fabulous trip. The cabins were cleaned and beds made after every excursion which was a nice touch. The food was incredible, with a huge range of seafood, meat and veggies to satisfy all the varied requirements of our group. Thank you!

Juan was a sensational guide, he got our whole group, ranging in age from 70 (me) to 30, our daughter, excited about every excursion and had a knowledge of the islands, flora and fauna, that was nothing short of encyclopedic! He was also enthusiastic, warm and helpful in any way imaginable. The crew were warm, friendly and helpful as well. The food was superb, every meal, and the service, as well. Absolutely first class!!

Outside of all the incredible species to observe in the Galapagos, we especially loved our unplugged family time together (stargazing, reading, playing board games etc.). directions_boat Ship conditionlocal_hotel Cabinrestaurant Fooddirections_walk Guidepeople CrewAnne Colgate wrote:Seeing the amazing flora and fauna of the Galapagos. Learning about everything we were seeing from Luis. Getting on an island and walking every day. Snorkeling. The captain took me under his wing and snorkels with me everyday. I wish some of our walks had been longer, I felt some of our walks were shortened. The Galápagos Islands speak for themselves and it was a wonderful experience. We really liked the small ship and small number of guests. The crew were friendly, kind and helpful. I'd go again

The planning is immaculately prepared with care so every day is full to the brim with amazing snorkelling, kayaking, wildlife and island trips. Each day seemed even more special and magical than the last. My wife is a vegetarian and the crew catered for that in exemplary fashion always giving her a delicious alternative to the excellent food enjoyed by me and the other guests.

Captain Jose was always available to his guests. The crew were friendly, helpful, fun! You will never go hungry on the Samba; the food was plentiful and delicious. Guides were energetic, knowledgeable and passionate about the islands. Samba may not be the most luxurious boat in the fleet; however, its captain, crew, guides, food and itinerary more than make up for it.

The early wake-up calls were beyond worth it just to experience the animals in the tranquility of the morning before other boats were even around. The rest of the crew was amazing as well; they were all so friendly and helpful with anything & everything. The 8 days I spent on the Samba went by much too quickly and I would consider myself lucky to visit again.

SANTA CRUZ II (1 reviews)
directions_boat Ship conditionlocal_hotel Cabinrestaurant Fooddirections_walk Guidepeople CrewNiek Rolink wrote:We did the 6 day Western itinerary on the Santa Cruz II. I was searching for a small ship with a few people, but because of the dates this was the best option. With the largest ship in the Galapagos, you have also the largest possibilities. They offer snorkeling, kayakking and glass botom boat. So if you want to see the underwaterworld, but not in the mood for snorkeling, you have other options. During the excursions you are with max of 14 people. The boat is very luxury, clean and the food is great.
