The Alya is brand new and absolutely lovely and the lap of luxury! it was spacious and quiet and the private deck was phenomenal. the shower was hot and so wonderful after snorkeling. I have never been on a cruise of any kind or a boat of any kind like this in the past, so I have nothing to compare it to. several people got sick on the rough open ocean crossings, and even tossed out of bed! but from what I hear that is pretty common. I had no problems and loved the gentle rocking. the staff were amazing and accommodating and genuinely wanted this to be the experience of a lifetime, which it was. worth every penny.
